Motorola launched the Moto X4 smartphone at IFA 2017 in Berlin. Now, the company is all set to launch the smartphone in India. It has sent out media invites for a launch event dated November 13.
The highlights of the Moto X4 is that it comes with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa support. The smartphone also comes with Moto Key, an inbuilt app for managing passwords and Bluetooth support for four different devices simultaneously. Additionally, the phone comes with IP68 rating, which makes it resistant from dust and water. On the design front, the phone has an anodized aluminum frame, and 3D rear contoured design. The Corning Gorilla Glass resides on the front and back of the smartphone.

The Moto X4 offers a 5.2-inch LTS IPS display with full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution, 424 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla protection. It has a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC under the hood paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The company might launch another variant with 32GB of internal storage paired with 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup – 12-megapixel dual auto-focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with 120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera combination also helps shoot photos with ‘Bokeh’ effect. Up front, the smartphone is equipped with a 16-megapixel snapper with flash, and f/2.0 aperture.
The device has a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack and is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. It has also several features such as NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS, GLONASS, 4G LTE, and FM radio support. On the software front, the Moto X4 runs the Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
