Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the top-selling smartphone online in India. While the smartphone is available in three variants, the 32GB internal storage with 2GB RAM, which is priced at Rs 9,999 is the one we are looking at right now. The smartphone comes with an impressive build quality featuring a full metal body. It features a a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 13-megapixel camera at the back, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4,100mAh battery. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Xiaomi Redmi 4
The Redmi 4 is among the Xiaomi’s three best-selling smartphones this year, with over 1 million units sold in just 30 days from launch. Just like the Redmi Note 4, the Redmi 4 also comes in three variants 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with 2GB, 3GB and 4GB of RAM. The base variant is priced at Rs 6,999, while the mid variant comes at Rs 8,999. All three variants offer 4G VoLTE support. The Redmi 4 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC. On the camera front, it comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Up front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. It runs on Android Nougat 7.0 based MIUI 8 custom OS.
Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro
Launched in April this year, the smartphone was launched as a direct competition to the Redmi 4A. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,490. The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro flaunts a 5-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display, and it is powered by a 1.5GHz Spreadtrum quad-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB internal storage on offer, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. There is an 8-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera. Making sure everything ticks is a 2,600mAh battery. As with the Galaxy J series, there are value additions like the S Bike mode, which has been developed with the Indian audience in mind.
Nokia 3
The Nokia 3 features a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek’s MT6737 quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. For optics, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel camera both in the front and rear. It houses a 2,650mAh battery, and runs on stock Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box. HMD Global has also promised that the smartphone will be getting two major Android OS upgrades.
Moto E4 Plus
The Moto E4 Plus has a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display with curved glass on top. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 SoC. The 32GB of internal storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It also has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the physical home button. The Moto E4 Plus is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, auto-focus, and LED flash. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. The Moto E4 Plus is priced at Rs 9,999.
