Google has introduced a few changes to its Play Store app for Android users. These new features include a layout makeover in some categories, and the integration of Instant Apps on Play Store. Google’s Instant Apps allows users to experience the apps with a new “Try it now” button, before downloading them on their smartphone.
Earlier if you would search for an app or website, then it would show with the Instant Apps option for you to try it out. It is understood that only apps and websites which support Instant Apps are available for the feature. On Google Play Store, there are six apps available with Instant Apps compatibility. These include Sky ScannerNYTimes CrosswordBuzzFeedOnefootball LiveRed Bull TV and ShareTheMeal.
Google also revamped the Editor’s Choice section on Play Store. The Android Excellence section under Editor’s Choice also has new apps and games added. The new Editor’s Choice layout is currently available in 17 countries. Play Store will also get a new layout for Games which now shows trailers and screenshots on the home page. There will be two new sections in Games where paid games will be under “Premium” and upcoming games under “New”. 
Google will also soon introduce “Pre-Registration Games” on Play Store. Google’s “live operations” will also be available on Play Store. Through this, users get to know about major in-game events of the games they have installed on their devices.
