The latest leak shows off the OnePlus 5T smartphone in its full glory.
After launching the OnePlus 5 earlier this year, OnePlus is now gearing up to launch the refreshed OnePlus 5T smartphone in the coming week. The event is set to take place on November 16 in Brooklyn, New York and most details of the smartphone have already been leaked. We have seen the leaked renders and have come across rumored specifications as well. Now, in the latest leak, real-life photos of the smartphone have also surfaced along with specifications in a reviewer’s guide, revealing the complete design of the smartphone. Apart from that, right a week before the launch, the smartphone has also been spotted on Geekbench revealing specifications of the phone.
Spotted on ZDNET’s German site, the reviewer uploaded unboxing images of the OnePlus 5T along with the reviewer’s guide a bit too early. Among other details, the leak reveals that the OnePlus 5T will come with Apple iPhone X like FaceID to unlock the smartphone. This is one of the fresh rumors we have heard so far. The photos also show that the company retains the headphone jack and the 18:9 aspect ratio.
Apart from that, the listing reveals that the smartphone is made of anodized Aluminum and feature a 6.01-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2160 resolution display with pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, there is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset paired with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. The OnePlus 5T is likely to be offered in two variants – 64GB internal storage with 6GB RAM and 128GB model with 8GB of RAM.
Keeping the smartphone ticking will be a 3,300mAh non-removable battery with support for Dash Chargeing. On the connectivity front, there is a USB-C, Dual nano-SIM, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. On the software front, the smartphone will run OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

While the listing doesn’t mention the camera details, thanks to the Geekbenchlisting, there might likely be a pair of 20-megapixel dual cameras at the rear. It is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone logged a score of 1,959 in single-core test and 6,742 at the multi-core. The Geekbench listing was first spotted by Gizmochina.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recently hinted at the pricing on Weibo suggesting that the smartphone will cost 4,000 RMB (approximately Rs 39,100). In India, OnePlus will be will conducting a flash sale for the OnePlus 5T on November 21 for early birds, with the official sales starting November 28. The sale will be exclusively on Amazon India.
