Around 6 million Reliance JioPhone to be delivered by October 19.\
Reliance JioPhone units are already out for delivery and the company has now confirmed that it will complete all the deliveries by Diwali. The company opened pre-orders last month and gone on record saying that it received over 6 million JioPhone orders. Going by the word, Jio is all set to complete the delivery process for all the six million JioPhone units by October 19.
Reliance Jio confirmed the same to a customer during a conversation on Twitter. “Thanks for reaching put, We have started the delivery of JioPhone in a phased manner to avoid inconvenience to our customers. Please be assured that all customers who have done the pre-booking of JioPhone will receive it by Diwali,” the Jio Care handle tweeted.
Reliance Jio started delivering JioPhone earlier this week on September 24 claiming that it will deliver all the JioPhone units in 15 days. Initially, the delivery was slated to start in the first week of September. Reliance Jio customers have eagerly been waiting for their JioPhone unit to arrive while many others are waiting for the company to resume pre-bookings once again. It halted the pre-booking few weeks after it started on the account of numerous JioPhone orders.

Also, the company has promised to send out SMS to customers informing when they can pick up the handset along with Jio Store address. On delivery of the Reliance JioPhone unit, the customer will need to the remaining amount of the Rs 1,500 refundable deposit.
The JioPhone effectively comes for free as the Rs 1,500 deposit is refundable after a period of three years. Essentially a feature phone, the 4G VoLTE-enabled JioPhone comes with a host of smart features such a voice assistant, bundled Jio apps for streaming movies, music and news. It also supports HDMI cable connectivity enabling it to cast the phone display on a bigger screen.
In terms of specification, the JioPhone has a 2.4-inch QVGA display and it is powered by a dual-core SoC. It comes wit 512MB RAM along with 4GB storage that is further expandable to 128GB via microSD card. The JioPhone has microUSB 2.0 port for charging and connectivity. It runs on a 2,000mAh battery.
