Apple has also revealed the India prices of the new iPhone trio.
As expected, Apple has launched a trip of iPhones at its keynote iPhone event tonight. The night began with the launch of the Apple Watch Series 3 and the Apple TV 4K, followed by the unveiling of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and then the highly-awaited iPhone X.
Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus
The Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have been launched in two variants each, that is 64GB and 256GB. While the iPhone 8 is a 4.7-inch device, the iPhone 8 Plus is a 5.5-inch device. At the event, only the price of the 64GB variants of the two smartphones was revealed. While the iPhone 8 is priced at $699, the iPhone 8 Plus has been priced at $799.
iPhone X
iPhone X, which as expected, is the most expensive iPhone from Apple ever, priced at $999. The device will be available in two colors – Silver and Space Grey. It will be available starting November 3 in the US. The India price announced by Apple is Rs 89000, with availability starting November 3.
Apple TV 4K
In the US market, the Apple TV 4K has been launched at $179, and in India it will start at Rs 15,900 for 32GB, and Rs 17,900 for 64GB, joining Apple TV (4th generation) 32GB at Rs 12,900. The TV 4K will be available through select Apple Authorised Resellers. Customers will be able to order both Apple TV 4K models beginning Friday, September 15, with availability beginning Friday, September 22 in the US and 21 additional countries and regions, and worldwide soon after.
Apple Watch Series 3
The Watch Series 3 has also been launched in two variants, wherein one of them comes with LTE support, and one without it. The former comes with $399, and the latter at $329. It is still unsure if one or both variant will make it to the Indian market.
