Xbox One X, Microsoft’s next-generation gaming console, is set to be launched on November 7. Ahead of the official launch, the company has released its full spot TV commercial, concluding its “Feel True Power” global campaign.
The commercial gives an overview into the titles coming up on the newest console including Forza Motorsport 7Super Lucky’s Tale, and Minecraft. Xbox One X is touted as ‘the world’s most powerful console’ by the company as it brings 4K experience to gaming.
Xbox One X is also the smallest console built by the company. It includes a 4K UHD Blu-ray player, built-in power supply, and three USB 3.0 ports. It can be placed both horizontally or vertically with an optional stand. The console will support all Xbox One games.
The console was first announced at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 earlier this year. Priced at $499 (Rs 32,200 approximately), the Xbox One X has an edge over predecessors as well as competitors with its capability of running games at 4K/60 frames per second. The Xbox One X packs an eight-core Custom AMD CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, a six teraflop GPU, 8GB of flash memory, 1TB of HHD internal storage, and 12GB of GDDR5 video RAM.
Microsoft has also developed 4K-ready games for the console. However, what gains most attention is the 4K resolution Minecraft. The 4K HDR experience of Minecraft will come as a free add-on but it will be optional. In addition to this, Minecraft has also received cross-platform capability, and can now be played across iOS, Android, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
