Known for building some of the thinnest and most portable computers, Acer today announced its Predator Triton 700 gaming notebook in India, which boasts a super fine thinness at just 0.74-inch. It will be available through Acer exclusive stores, and authorized online stores. It is priced at a whopping Rs 299,999.
Acer Predator Triton 700 utilizes NVIDIA’s Max-Q approach for thinnest and quietest gaming laptops. The notebook features aluminum chassis, and helping it attain the thinness is Acer’s AeroBlade 3D metal fans which are said to increase airflow by 35 percent and yet consume less space.
In terms of specifications, the Acer Predator Triton 700 packs a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC. Further enhancing the gaming experience in terms of audio output is Dolby ATMOS surround sound, and Acer TrueHarmony technology.
At the heart of the gaming notebook is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (overclockable) GPU, and 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor. There are two NVMe PCIe SSDs in RAID configuration, and up to 32GB of DDR4 2400 MHz memory.
Other features include Killer DoubleShot Pro networking and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, which is said to provide speeds up to 40Gbps and offer support for dual 4K video output. In terms of connectivity, there’s a pair of USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort connector, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
Complementing the machine is a mechanical keyboard which features RGB backlit keys that can be individually programmed. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass plate above the keyboard which functions as a precision touchpad and also gives a peek into the notebook’s cooling system.
